Fall evenings in Tennessee are calling for your family; the way the sun lingers low, the grasses start to soften, and everything feels a little slower and cooler. As a Nashville family photographer, I love this time of year for sessions that feel less like posing and more like being together. Kids think we are playing, parents laugh, and everyone settles into one another naturally. And that light is here for you.
This golden hour field session was exactly that: unhurried (but still a little bit chaotic, of course), genuine, filled with tiny in-between moments that say more about who a family is than any posed portrait ever could. Bare feet in the grass. Wind in hair. The easy way a child reaches for their parent without thinking about it. Those are the things I want families to remember when they look back years from now.
